About Nomadic EP

Build capacity. Reduce setbacks.

Nomadic EP provides structured, evidence-based Exercise Physiology services in Ballarat, supporting individuals across injury rehabilitation, chronic disease management, return to sport, and performance development.

Our work is built around one principle:

Build strength capacity properly.

Whether you are managing pain, returning from injury, living with a chronic condition, or aiming to improve performance, structured progression and measurable strength matter.

What Is an Exercise Physiologist?

An Exercise Physiologist is a university-trained allied health professional specialising in clinical exercise prescription.

Exercise Physiologists work with individuals managing:

• Chronic disease
• Musculoskeletal injuries
• Post-operative rehabilitation
• Metabolic conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes
• Return-to-sport progression
• Strength and performance development

Unlike general fitness training, programs are tailored based on medical history, functional capacity, and objective assessment.

Our Approach

At Nomadic EP, exercise is not random.

We assess:

• Strength
• Movement capacity
• Side-to-side differences
• Load tolerance

From there, we build structured and progressive programs designed to improve resilience, independence, and performance.

Where appropriate, objective strength testing is used to guide decisions with data rather than guesswork.

Who We Work With

We support:

• Adults managing chronic health conditions
• Individuals with ongoing joint or back pain
• Older adults wanting to maintain independence
• Athletes returning from injury
• Individuals seeking structured strength training

Services are available for Medicare (CDM), DVA, NDIS, and private clients.

Meet Nic Moran

Nomadic EP is led by Accredited Exercise Physiologist Nicholas Moran.

Nicholas has experience working across injury rehabilitation, chronic disease management, return-to-sport progression, and strength development in both community and performance settings.

His approach combines clinical structure with practical strength training in a gym environment — focusing on measurable progression rather than guesswork.

He applies the same structured strength principles in his own training that he prescribes to clients.

Our Environment

Sessions are delivered in a fully equipped gym environment, combining clinical oversight with practical strength training.

The goal is simple:

Build strength properly so you can move confidently and stay active long term.
