Normatec Recovery Membership – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Normatec Recovery Membership offered by Nomadic EP. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before signing up. By joining, you agree to the following:

1. Membership Inclusions

  • Access to one Normatec recovery session per billing cycle

  • Each session runs for 30 minutes (booked in a 40-minute time slot)

  • Discounted additional sessions available for active members

  • Bookings are made through our online system at www.nomadicep.com.au

  • ​

2. Membership Billing

  • $10 billed per cycle via direct debit or online payment

  • No lock-in contracts — cancel any time with 7 days’ notice before the next billing charge.

3. Booking & Session Policy

  • All sessions must be booked in advance using the online booking platform

  • Missed or unused sessions do not carry over to future billing periods

  • Additional sessions can be purchased at a reduced member rate

​

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 4 hours in advance

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the session being forfeited

  • Repeated no-shows may lead to temporary suspension of booking access

​

5. Use & Safety

  • Normatec use should align with staff guidance and individual health conditions

  • Do not use if you have: deep vein thrombosis, infections, open wounds, or other contraindications — consult your GP or allied health provider if unsure

  • Use of the equipment is at your own risk; Nomadic EP accepts no responsibility for injury or adverse reactions due to undisclosed medical conditions

6. Conduct

  • Clients are expected to treat equipment, staff, and others with respect

  • Misuse or inappropriate behavior may result in cancellation of membership

7. Terms Updates

  • These terms may be updated at any time

  • The most current version will always be available at www.nomadicep.com.au

8. Medical Clearance & Suitability

​

It is the responsibility of each member to ensure they are medically fit to use Normatec compression therapy. By signing up, you confirm that you do not have any known conditions that may pose a risk when using compression-based recovery equipment. Contraindications include but are not limited to: deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, severe peripheral arterial disease, severe heart failure, recent surgery with clot risk, active skin infections or wounds, acute or unstable medical conditions, bone fractures, or active malignancy in the limbs. Use is also not advised in cases of uncontrolled hypertension, recent musculoskeletal injury or trauma, peripheral neuropathy, pregnancy (particularly in the third trimester), recent stroke, or with implanted devices such as pacemakers (particularly relevant for Compex EMS).

Members with any of the above conditions, or those unsure about their suitability, must seek clearance from a qualified medical practitioner before using Nomadic EP recovery equipment. Nomadic EP staff reserve the right to request medical clearance prior to granting access to sessions in the event of known risk factors. Use of the equipment is at your own risk, and Nomadic EP accepts no responsibility for adverse outcomes related to undeclared or unmanaged health conditions.

9. Membership Suspension or Termination

Nomadic EP reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership without refund in cases of:

  • Misuse of equipment

  • Repeated policy violations

  • Harassment or inappropriate behavior toward staff or other clients

  • Health and safety risks

10. Facility Access

  • Normatec sessions are available during set clinic or gym hours only

  • Access outside staffed hours is not permitted unless otherwise arranged

11. Consent to Use of Data

  • By signing up, you agree that Nomadic EP may collect and store your contact and booking information for service delivery, communication, and analytics

  • Data will be handled according to our privacy policy, available at www.nomadicep.com.au

​

12. Intellectual Property

  • All content provided by Nomadic EP — including written protocols, instructional materials, graphics, branding, and logos — is the intellectual property of Nomadic EP and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

  • Use is for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nomadic EP and its staff from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the services or breach of these terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nomadic EP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits, arising from your participation in this membership or use of recovery equipment.

15. Right to Modify Terms

Nomadic EP reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on www.nomadicep.com.au. Continued use of the service after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Promotional Emails & Content

By signing up, you agree to receive occasional emails about new services, promotions, or health-related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

17. Warranties & Responsibility for Services and Products

Nomadic EP provides recovery services "as is" and makes no guarantees regarding individual results. We aim to maintain high standards but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

​

18. Retention of Right to Change Offering

Nomadic EP reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the recovery service, including pricing or session availability, at any time with reasonable notice.

19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.

20. Force Majeure

Nomadic EP is not responsible for delays or failure in performance resulting from events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or equipment failures.

​

21. Non-Transferable Membership

Memberships are for individual use only and cannot be transferred or shared without written approval from Nomadic EP.
